Mainstreet Mexico is a community-driven organization dedicated to strengthening downtown Mexico, Missouri. Through local partnerships, events, and strategic revitalization efforts, we work to preserve The Square's character while creating a vibrant, welcoming destination for businesses, residents, and visitors.
Downtown Mexico has always been the heart of our community, and Mainstreet Mexico exists to keep it thriving.
We collaborate with business owners, property owners, volunteers, city leaders, and residents to enhance the economic vitality, appearance, and experience of our historic downtown district. From community events to beautification projects, our focus is on creating a downtown that people are proud of and excited to support.

Enjoy free hot dogs donated and cooked by the Audrain County Cattlemen's Association (while supplies last), patriotic music, family-friendly fun, and a chance to come together as a community.

Shop, sell, and score big at Mexico Market Madness, a giant community yard sale in the heart of downtown Mexico, MO.
Join us for a community yard sale in downtown Mexico, Missouri. Spend the afternoon shopping for unique finds and great deals from local vendors. Enjoy a variety of flavors and treats from area food trucks.
This open-air market turns the historic square into a giant community yard sale. Participants rent parking spaces around the square to sell treasures, vintage finds, crafts, and more.
Whether you’re browsing great deals or selling your own items, it’s a fun afternoon of shopping, socializing, and supporting local activity in the heart of Mexico.
